What's the Rage about Triple 7s Blackjack?
It seems like everyone is talking about Triple 7s Blackjack these days. Since there are so many different versions of blackjack around (especially now that they can be accessed on line, so even if you are in America, you can get an awesome version of Spanish blackjack for example), to be popular, there must be something really great going on with a game. Why is everyone talking about Triple 7s Blackjack? Well, for a start, it is an easy game to learn as it is pretty similar to regular blackjack (so if you know how to play that, the learning curve isn't going to be exactly steep). Second, for those who are serious gamblers and like to go for big time jackpots, the side bet in the game means that players can go for a progressive jackpot. And anyone who knows anything about gambling knows that a progressive jackpot can result in huge amounts of money since they just increase each time the game is played and not won. Given the fact that Triple 7s Blackjack is a fun game, more and more people will be playing, which means more and more money in the jackpot!
Playing Triple 7s Blackjack
The game uses 5 decks of cards with a side bet (using one coin) that is automatically established by the computer at the beginning of the game. Dealers must hit on 16 and stand on 17; splitting (even with aces) and re-splitting are permitted in the game. the cards that cannot be split are those with the same value but are different (such as a queen and a 10). If you have split, you are no longer allowed to double which is anyway only permissible with hands that have the value of 9, 10, or 11.
Winning Triple 7s Blackjack
To win the regular version of Triple 7s Blackjack, one has to beat the dealer (without exceeding 21) or have the dealer lose by him (or her) exceeding that magic number. However, that is not the case for the jackpot which is no easy task. A player has to see 3 diamond 7s (hence the name of the game) in a row from the first card in their hand. So if you work out the likelihood of that, you can see just how much (or little) of a chance you have to win. But no matter if you win or lose, you sure will have fun while trying to nail that jackpot!
